About the Artist

My name is Emijah Jones (Mijah) and I am a college sophomore attending the University of Northern Iowa double majoring in Graphic Design & Spanish.

I am a watercolor artist in which I mostly paint black figures. I create art to capture those hidden golden moments in life that are often lost or overlooked. I find that these moments of raw emotions, growth, and realizing our potential are important as they contribute to the individuals we become. So, I take those details of life and in keep them within a painting.
